A few years ago Sam and I went blueberry picking when we lived in Louisiana. We got all of the above blueberries (plus a bit more) for just a little over $8.00! Now I need to find one here because there is nothing like fresh picked blueberries. I have some places to research but if you know of one please let me know! What is your favorite summer fruit?

So yummy! Our weather here in Oregon has been pretty crumby and my bushes are just starting to have berries. Not enough for a whole bucket load though. Yum.

MMMM!We went picking over the weekend and made some muffins when we got home. Blueberries taste exactly like summer should.

Oh yum! Our neighbor has blueberry bushes on the side of the house so he brought over a huge bowl the other day! Blueberries are right up there with watermelon as to my fave summer fruit!

ReplyDeleteMy dad always talks about how they HAD to pick fruit all summer to make $ for the family and now we actually pay people to let us pick their fruit - interesting how times change :)
