Saturday I spent the day participating in a Handbell Festival with one of the handbell choirs from church. What a day of music! We practiced from 9:30 in the morning until right before the concert at 4:00 that afternoon. The concert at the end of the day was wonderful. Not to mention that hubby, Sam and my sister-in-law came out to see it.
Sunday at church not only did we have the usual (choir and orchestra) but we also had a women's ensemble sing. Then this Sunday started the beginning of a new sermon series "Celebrating Our Heritage" and along with it we sang only hymns written by Wesley! How wonderful it was to sing those songs.
Then Sunday evening we were treated to an organ concert by our organist at church and dear friend.
What a weekend!
