This first photo is one of Sam that has been on my blog before. I took it with the setting sun behind him and it blacked him out to look like a silhouette.
Here is one of our cat Murphy. I took this picture early one morning when we were still living in Nashville. He was sitting on the arm of our couch with the sun pouring in on him. What you have to realize is that the wall behind him is a pale yellow but when the picture was developed (yes, developed...it was before digital cameras) the wall came out black and I was left with this amazing photo.
And finally a pair of handmade socks that I make for my company: Naked Footwear, which I need to desperately update and move over to Etsy. Hopefully I'll get that done this week.

Love the socks, as always; and the kid on a swing is black but so alive! Lovely!
Murphy is gorgeous. Just gorgeous.
I played, too. Stop by and check it out!
All great photos. The socks are so cute!
Wonderful photos. I like the silhouette effect.
Murphy is lovely cat.
That's a cute pair of socks. You're very creative.
Thanks for visiting.
Interesting shots -- I really like the silhouette action shot of the kid on a swing. :)
I enjoyed catching up on all your recent posts in my reader this morning. Kudos on your Spring Reading list progress! Although I didn't get around to participating in Photo Hunt this week, I really enjoyed each of your images here.
Hugs and blessings,
Love that first photo.
