I'm working on my first sock, too - I haven't made it to the heel yet, but I think I can do it... Yours looks great!
You know what they say about socks....once you start, you can't stop! It becomes an addiction. Congrats on a great job and a fun new addiction. :P

As promised here are the more up to date pictures of my very first sock. So far so good! I'm really enjoying working on this as it seems to be going pretty quickly.
