Friday's Feast

Want to see more feasts? Click on the picture above and read more.

Appetizer: When someone smiles at you, do you smile back?
Of course! Don't you?

Soup: Describe the flooring in your home. Do you have carpet, hardwood, vinyl, a mix?
We have carpet through out most of the house with some linoleum and ceramic tile.

Salad: Write a sentence with only 5 words, but all of the words have to start with the first letter of your first name.
Kangaroos kindly keep kicking kettles.

Main Course: Do you know anyone whose life has been touched by adoption?
ME! We adopted our son almost 8 years ago. He was 4 1/2 months old when we got him and he's been the light in our lives ever since. Of course, all of our family and friends have been touched by adoption too. In fact one of our best friends in Nashville, TN, adopted their daughter shortly after we adopted Sam after they saw how happy we were with our adoption.

Dessert: Name 2 blue things
The ocean and the sky. Those are the first two items that came to my mind.

Thanks for coming by my blog. I've just been noseying through some of your previous posts and came across your photos of your son when you first met him, and with his great-aunt and Gran. They're wonderful. I love how you write about the importance of all these pictures to you.

And mmmm... those sloppy joes sound wonderful! Might try sometime. Thanks.

Thanks for coming by. I've had a hectic day and haven't been able to visit much. You did a good job with your "K"...that's tough. And I can tell how blessed y'all've been with your adoption. That's tremendous!

Have a great weekend.

I thought of you when I did my feast - but since I only know you thru blogging I didn't "count" that. Stupid of me! My blogging friends are some of the best friends I have! I love reading about Sam!

Have a great weekend, fellow-Texan!

How sweet that you adopted. My daughter talked about adopting before she got pregnant this last time. And, "K" is a hard letter to work with. Have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks for coming to visit me! I used to live in Arlington - then I moved briefly to Irving and then Carrollton (this was after living previously in Keller and Euless) and now I'm settled in Fort Worth and I've told my husband that it'll take a backhoe to get me out of this house ...thank God we bought it! :-)

You were right - it's hard to write a sentence with K's - yours is funny!

Have a great weekend!
