I'm so excited! One of my favorite books from my childhood and one of my favorite children's authors is coming to the big screen on October 16! "Where The Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak! The first video below is an interview with Maurice Sendak. I love the fact that Maurice gave his blessing for this movie.

Looks like it's going to be a fun movie.
I had heard about this. And then I saw the trailer. I got so emotional watching that first trailer...I knew I would. I love this book. It is my favorite favorite children's book.

Oh, my gosh I am so excited too. I remember when I was young and my mom reading it to me. After I grew up and became a teacher I loved reading it to my classroom.
