From Sam's Mouth and 100 Joys

Sam: "Mom, the Christmas Tree tastes funny."

Me: "Why are you tasting the Christmas Tree?  It's fake and made of plastic."

Sam:  "I wanted to see what Christmas tastes like...you know...get a taste of Christmas."

With that being said I'm going to try to focus on the memories of this Christmas as much as I can.  For some reason I don't want to forget these memories.  Sam is growing up and growing up fast.  He'll only be this age once and this will possibly be the last year that he believes in Santa but he also knows the true meaning of Christmas and is quick to remind anyone that loses sight of it.

I'm going to join in with Sarah Markley - Best Days of My Life and her 100 Joys (thanks to Rachel for pointing her out).  She says, "I’m going to find the One Hundred Joys that God is going to put in my path for the next 31 days."  I'm a few days behind so I'll start it off with a few in this post and then really start looking for these wonderful Joys that God is to put in front of me.  There won't be any pictures in this post but I will do my best to add photos to my upcoming posts for these 100 Joys.

1. A wonderful, thoughtful, caring, supportive husband.  Today is his birtday and I couldn't have asked for a better husband.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  You are my number 1 joy in this Holiday season and any other time of the year.

2. A son that lightens up any room that he walks into.  I'm sure he'll be more of these 100 Joys but he is the biggest Joy that my husband and I have ever asked God for and received.  You see we were praying and praying for a child but never specified how we wanted this child.  We always thought we would have kids the usual way.  God had a different plan for us.

3. A house/roof over our heads.  I know that it is God that has provided our house for us as we have been through a lot when it comes to housing in the past few years.  For this I am joyful.
