As promised here is a quick update on my boy. He is a true trooper. His surgery went great and his recovery is going fantastic. He's actually staying calm and I've only had to remind him a few times to calm down. He has spent most of the time playing video games or building quietly with his Legos. Today was the first day that he didn't ask for a pain pill until the middle of the afternoon. He's still taking one at night because turning over and tossing and turning in bed is still uncomfortable. He's sleeping through the night and rarely complains about it. I'm thrilled about how well he's doing. Tomorrow we are thinking of taking him to go see a movie (cheap theater only $1.75) and possibly next week taking him to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.
