Friday's Feast is Served!

Appetizer: On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being highest) how much do enjoy watching sports on television?
It would actually depend on the sport. For football (NFL) I would give it a 10. For baseball I would give it a 9.

Soup: If you could completely memorize any one work of fiction, which one would you pick?
Only because I can't wait to read it I guess the one on my mind right now would be the Harry Potter books.

Salad: What is your favorite breakfast food?
Gee...just to name one would be hard. I love breakfast so I'll have to name more than just one: Pancakes, eggs, waffles, french toast, breads, muffins, fresh fruit.

Main Course: Name something fun you can do for less than $10.00.
If you don't count the cost of gas then I can do quite a bit with $10. This summer alone I have done the following with Sam for $10 or less. Blueberry picking, toured the National Weather Station, gone to the lake, free movies with snacks, American Rose Society Gardens, Chimp Haven, and SciPort Discovery Center just to name a few.

Dessert: How long does it usually take you to fall asleep?
Depends on the night and if hubby is home or not. When hubby is home it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour. When he is away it takes me way to long to fall asleep. Sometimes I don't fall asleep until after 1 a.m.

Great feast this week. Harry Potter seems to be on everyone's mind here in the shadow of Book 7's release. My feast is now up.

I love breakfast too!! I had trouble picking just one. I keep going to other people's feast and saying--that was a good one. :-) I like that breakfast. LOL

You also sound very resourceful and find a lot to do under $10.00. Woo Hoo!! :-)

Wow, you've given almost full rating for sports! I salute you... :D I only give a poor miserable '1'. LOL.

Hmmm... the HP craze. I can see you're definitely joining in the fun. ;)

Thanks for serving up such a nice feast! And here's a happy weekend to you...

I'm the same way. If my husband is working nights, I can't fall asleep for anything.

Lots of great things you listed to do for under $10! I've never been blueberry picking. Fun!

Hi Kim. Great feast. That would be a lot of fun to try to memorize the Harry Potter books. My wife and I went cherry picking last month, though it cost more than $10. :(

It's amazing what you can do really cheaply if you put your mind to it. You've got a lovely list of activities there! I enjoyed your feast.

Mmmmmmmm, *shaking head in understanding here* about if hubby is home or not. It's tough without our soulmate!!

LOL - your salad is a breakfast buffet! Good choice!

I love your inexpensive field trips with Sam! If it ever stops raining here maybe we could do something fun.

Happy Friday! TGIF!

Oh where did you pick blueberries? One of my h/s girlfriends owns a blueberry farm just north of Kansas City and I've yet to get there!

Harry Potter....I think I'm behind the times, I need to read it and see what all the hulaboo has been about! xo

You know, I have to say, I really appreciate you commenting on my blog and telling me that you have visited before and came back! I so love that!!
I still find it hard to believe people want to hear what I have to say :)
You mentioned that you moved from Springfield, MO (love that Bass Pro shop you have there!) but you didn't mention where you moved to. Silly me forgot to check that before I redirected to here :(
I also noticed you have a link to Vicky Howell's blog.....I DIDN'T KNOW SHE HAD ONE! I have learned so much knitting stuff from watching Knitty Gritty. I love it!!! I can honestly say though, that I've only made scarves so far though ;-) But thanks to that show, I can make fun and frilly scarves!!
Thanks for coming by and come back soon!!!

It's okay, I've had a busy weekend too (back to uni yesterday)
Such a yummy salad!
I loved the main course question since so many people who came up with great answers, like yourself :)
Thanks for sharing your feast as well as joining in mine - I hope you had a great weekend! :)

Harry Potter! My daughter & I are currently reading the last one. Everytime one of us sets the book down, the other grabs real quick. I think maybe we should have bought 2. ;)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Great feast!
