40PC, #5

It's time for 40PC, #5. If you would like to play click on the picture above and see what it's all about! Here is this weeks picture that was taken by Pensieve herself. This week Pensieve told us that she loves Limericks. So I thought that I would try to write one. It was fun and easy to do. I only had trouble with my last line but then it came to me as soon as I left it alone.

A Net, a circle and a square?
Do you think it could really go in there?
Now looking at the sky,
I often wonder why.
Do people out there really care?

Yaaeeeeeee! A limerick! Bonus points!

Interesting how you saw shapes--a very literal interpretation :). My boys will tell ya, it most definitely can go in there :).

Oh, for the record, I ALWAYS get snagged on the last line! Drives me nuts--like it's on the tip of my tongue and I can't get it out. You did well, lol...made me grin (another good thing).

Thanks for playing!

Fun post. This was my first time joining in. I'm enjoying reading what everyone else puts up.

Im impressed! You wrote a limerick! I can see from Robins reaction she was very excited LOL!

That was very witty, I enjoyed reading it! I also wanted to write a limerick but got snagged on the last line so just wrote a rhyme!

I’m playing ‘catch-up’ today and think YOURS is very nicely done!!! I’m impressed that you managed to make it a meaningful limerick! I tend to fall into Haiku on Fridays, but maybe I’ll try a limerick on a future 40PC … or not ;--)

Thanks for stopping by mine at Small Reflections. It is fun to see what everyone does with these isn’t it?
Hugs and blessings,
